A recent article was published by the La Jolla Light, detailing a rockslide that occurred in mid-October and raises questions related to the proposed Princess Beach stairway. Although the boulders did not come from our easement, the event has brought attention to the project and its development.
After briefly summarizing the history of local access to the beach and the proposed Princess Street stairway, writer Ashley Mackin Solomon references comments made by our own executive director, Pam Heatherington, and discusses questions and concerns about the development and safety of the stairway.
