California to celebrate biodiversity across the state through locally-held events. These events include everything from educational nature walks guided by environmental scientists, to citizen science events where participants get the opportunity to observe and record sightings of local flora and fauna on iNaturalist.

The purpose of the DPR is to approve based on the plans meeting code requirements and since the plans have been approved, it will move on to the next step.

On November 17th, 2024 the Surfrider Foundation along with the Environmental Center of San Diego, led a tidepool walk during a King Tide in La Jolla Shores.

The Environmental Center of San Diego recently did a collaboration with the Mission Hills High School Nature Club to do some community service hours.
